1. Purpose
These Community Guidelines establish the standards of behavior we expect from all HERE users. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where people can connect authentically.

2. Respect and Consideration
Treat all users with respect, kindness, and consideration:
- Be courteous and respectful in all interactions

- Give others the benefit of the doubt
- Apologize when you make mistakes
- Report issues instead of retaliating
3. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action:
3.1 Hate Speech
- Content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Content that promotes hatred based on religion or belief
- Content that discriminates based on gender or sexual orientation
- Content that targets people with disabilities
- Slurs, derogatory terms, or hateful symbols
3.2 Sexual Content
- Sexually explicit images, videos, or text
- Nudity or sexually suggestive content
- Solicitation of sexual content or services
- Sexual or romantic advances that are unwanted
- Content depicting or promoting sexual violence
3.3 Violence and Threats
- Threats of physical harm or violence
- Content promoting or glorifying violence
- Content depicting graphic violence
- Encouragement of self-harm or suicide
- Instructions for making weapons or explosives
3.4 Harassment and Bullying
- Persistent unwanted contact after being asked to stop
- Targeted harassment or bullying of individuals
- Doxxing (sharing private personal information)
- Coordinated harassment campaigns
- Stalking or monitoring someone's activity
3.5 Spam and Scams
- Unsolicited commercial messages or advertisements
- Repetitive, unwanted messages to multiple users
- Phishing attempts or financial scams
- Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
- Requests for money or financial assistance from other users
3.6 Illegal Activities
- Buying, selling, or trading illegal goods or services
- Promotion of illegal drug use
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
- Discussion of or planning illegal activities
- Sharing pirated or copyrighted content
3.7 Impersonation
- Pretending to be another person
- Creating fake accounts to deceive others
- Misrepresenting your identity or credentials
- Impersonating company staff or representatives
3.8 Content Endangering Minors
- Any content that sexualizes or exploits minors
- Content that endangers the safety of children
- Attempts to contact minors inappropriately
- Content promoting child abuse or neglect
4. Content Moderation
We use multiple layers of content moderation to keep HERE safe:
- Automated Filtering: AI-powered systems detect and filter prohibited content in real-time
- AI Detection: Machine learning models identify patterns of harmful behavior
- Human Review: Trained moderators review reported content and edge cases
- User Reports: Community members can report violations directly
- Proactive Monitoring: We actively monitor for policy violations
5. How to Report
If you encounter content or users that violate these guidelines:
- In-App Reporting: Use the report button on any message or profile
- Block Users: Block users to prevent them from contacting you
- Email Support: Contact us at here.app.privacy@gmail.com for serious violations
- Provide Details: Include as much information as possible to help our investigation
Your reports are confidential. The reported user will not know who reported them.
6. Enforcement Actions
Violations of these guidelines will result in the following actions:
6.1 Warning
- First-time minor violations receive a warning
- Content is removed
- User is notified of the violation
6.2 Temporary Suspension
- 7-Day Ban: Second violation or moderate offense
- 30-Day Ban: Third violation or serious offense
- Account access is temporarily suspended
- All content is hidden during suspension
6.3 Permanent Ban
- Fourth violation or severe offense
- Account is permanently deleted
- All content and data are removed
- Cannot create new accounts
6.4 Immediate Permanent Ban
The following result in immediate permanent ban:
- Explicit sexual content involving minors
- Threats of violence or terrorism
- Extreme harassment or hate speech
- Coordinated abuse or manipulation
7. Response Time
- All reports reviewed within 24 hours
- Automated systems respond instantly to obvious violations
- Complex cases may require additional investigation time
- You will be notified of the outcome of your report
- Urgent safety issues are prioritized and addressed immediately
8. Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error:
- Send an appeal email to here.app.privacy@gmail.com
- Include your account details and reason for appeal
- Appeals are reviewed within 3-5 business days
- Decisions on appeals are final
Appeals for permanent bans due to severe violations (illegal content, child safety, violence) are rarely overturned.
9. Safety Tips
Follow these tips to stay safe while using HERE:
- Protect Personal Information: Don't share your full name, address, phone number, or workplace
- Meet Safely: If meeting in person, choose public places and tell someone where you're going
- Trust Your Instincts: If something feels wrong, it probably is
- Report Suspicious Behavior: Report users who ask for money or personal information
- Use Blocking: Block users who make you uncomfortable
- Don't Share Financial Info: Never share credit card or banking information
- Verify Identities: Be cautious of users with minimal profile information
